Junior Cricket

Come play Junior cricket at LCC. Here at LCC, we put an emphasis on learning, participation and fun. We have programs and competitions to suit all ages ranging from  5yrs old to 16 yrs old. 
 
Our Junior Blaster program is designed for children aged 5-9 years old where we teach kids the basics of cricket by building their skills through fun, game based activities. We ensure every child gets a go allowing the to learn new skills and build on already existing skills. All children receive a Junior Blast sports pack which includes a T-Shirt, Hat, Plastic Bat, Ball and more. 
 
Our Junior Cricketers aged from 10yrs old through to 16yrs old will be competing in our Logan Districts Junior Cricket Association. This competition will have games played with modified rules and ground sizes that make it suitable for each aged group. Everyone will get an opportunity to participate and showcase their skills with the bat and ball. Training will be held during the week at the club to continue to develop those skills with our coaches and senior players lending a hand. Games are played on a saturday morning, usually starting at 8am.

Senior Cricket

Loganholme Cricket Club won four premierships in 2018/19 and are looking to build on that this year. We will be entering sides in Second Grade and Third Grade as well as Over 40’s Division 1 in the Cricket Gold Coast Competition. Second Grade and Third Grade games are a mixture of one day and two-day games, whereas the Over 40’s is all one-day games.

We will be entering up to four sides in the Logan Districts Cricket Competition in Division 1, Division 2 and a possible Division 3 competition. All cricket in Logan Districts for 2019/20 will be one day cricket.

We will be offering an opportunity for players to play different types of cricket and several different levels of cricket. We all love to win but we will be offering the opportunity to have fun while you are trying to win.
